Who I am
Hi, I'm Rachel, a senior mental health nurse, leader, and systems thinker who believes deeply in kindness, commitment, and inclusion. These values shape everything I do, whether it's leading large-scale reform, supporting a team through change, or sitting with someone in a moment of uncertainty.
Over the years I've operationally managed and led large mental health teams in Victoria's public health system, and I currently lead a national programs team within a leading youth mental health organisation. In this role I work closely with government, sector partners, and multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and sustain programs that genuinely improve outcomes for young people experiencing mental illness.
I know firsthand how challenging it can be to step into leadership from a clinical background, and how easy it is to lose yourself in the complexity. That's why I'm passionate about creating spaces where leaders can pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
I offer:
Leadership Supervision – a confidential, reflective space to strengthen your leadership identity and resilience.
Workshop Facilitation – interactive, evidence-informed sessions designed to spark meaningful dialogue and practical action.
Monthly Journal Clubs for Healthcare Leaders – connecting research with practice in accessible, collegial ways.
At the heart of all of this is one goal: supporting values-driven leaders and healthcare professionals to lead with vision, integrity, and courage. If that resonates with you, I'd love to work alongside you.
My qualifications:
Bachelor of Nursing (2009)
Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (2014)
PhD (2021)
Executive Master of Public Administration (2022)
AICD Company Directors Course (2025)
